KEEP ZAMBIA CLEAN, GREEN AND HEALTHY

Mwense District joined the Keep Zambia Clean Campaign, demonstrating its commitment to environmental cleanliness and public health. Council staff, community members and stakeholders participate in cleaning activities and promote proper waste management. The district encourages everyone to work together to keep the environment clean and healthy for all.

KEEP ZAMBIA CLEAN, GREEN AND HEALTHY

The “Keep Zambia Clean, Green and Healthy” (KZCGH) campaign is  a national initiative by Zambia’s government and  Councils to promote environmental sustainability, public health and community involvement through regular clean-up drives, educational programs and improved waste management  aiming to foster a cleaner nation by encouraging citizen participation and enforcing regulations against littering and poor waste disposal. Key aspects include weekly clean-up exercises, focusing on waste management to prevent diseases and launching communication strategies to drive behavioral change and support from all sectors.
